Victoria Thomasch’s “4th Annual Recital for Refugees” was a major success! Congratulations to all performers, and to all those who donated and virtually tuned in! The fundraising portion of the event earned $2,600 more than the original fundraising goal, bringing the total to a grand $6,600 in donations for the International Rescue Committee (www.rescue.org).
It was an honor to be commissioned to compose a piece of music for such talented musicians and for such an important and worthy cause.
