Kristen Waligora: "Vincent's Night" Video and "In the Night's Wood" CD

Classical guitarist Kristen Waligora, and duo partner of Duo Tenebroso, debuts her latest video performing my piece “Vincent’s Night”, which will be included in her soon-to-be-released CD “In the Night’s Wood”. Against a background of wilderness, Kristen gives us a moving and serene visual presentation that equally matches her lovely interpretation of “Vincent’s Night”. Her creativity has not only showcased musicality in her recording, but also produced a visual filled with images of nature and landscapes that fittingly correspond to the core of this piece and its layers of sentiments.

This piece has special meaning for me because I became good friends with the composer Kristina Avila. I felt an immediate kinship to her music and with this piece in particular. I recognized, and have felt myself, the struggle and fragility of desire that grows into a passionate storm of creative energy conveyed in Vincent's Night.

”In the Night’s Wood” will be released on October 4th, and is now available for pre-order.
